“Charnia” is coming!
Charnia it’s getting closer and I’m so happy with how it’s sounding.
My first album as a leader was recorded on December 2nd and 3rd 2023 in Zentrifuge Studios in Berlin with the original line-up, Emmanuel Walter on piano, Roman Polatzky on Alt Saxophone and Max Müller on Double Bass.
The process of mixing and mastering is about to start and the album is expected to be released in Spring 2024. Stay Tuned!
“ISI” is out now
Another single called “ISI” is out now! For this song we had the wonderful voice of Anu Chaoui and some other great musicians. This beautiful videoclip was created by Thoma Simonnet (aka Mady). I hope you enjoy it!
“Apple” is out now
Lately I’ve been working on new music with my good friend bass player and composer Diego Alejandro.
On August 31th we released one of those songs called “Apple” in which many other great musicians collaborated. Among those, you can hear the voice of singer-songwriter Kota No Uta who recently won the Female Producer Prize 2023 in Germany.

Recording “Charnia”
After a couple of years writing new music for my quartet it’s time to get into the studio to record it.
We are going to record “Charnia” in the beginning of December, but before that we’ll offer two more shows. On October 8th at “Blue Note” in Dresden and the next one on 30th November at “Horns Erben” in Leipzig.

Last Saturday Pablo Tarantino Quartet performed all the tunes that will be on my upcoming record. This one is called “Alma Canta”, a especial one that I wrote developing a little melody my daughter was singing.

Pablo Tarantino Quartet
I’m excited to announce the first concert of my quartet on 10.06.23 at Salon der Villa Plagwitz (Karl-Heine-Strasse 108, Leipzig).
I’ve been writing the music for my first album as a leader and this music will be played for the first time with my band, which is formed by: Emmanuel Walter on piano, Roman Polatzky on Alt Saxophone and Max Müller on Double-Bass.

Vico Diaz Trio
The Mexican leona (bass) player Vico Diaz brought a few new tunes of his own to Europe and I’m lucky to be part of his trio together with pianist Robbi Nakayama. The first concert will be on February 10th in Leipzig, Germany.
“Has Had It” is out!
The new album of Salvation Bill “Has Had it” is out now. I’m proud to be part of this beautiful music production where I had the pleasure of creating the drums for it.

Drumless Loops Vol.1
Now available on my BandCamp!
You will find loops with different beats and vibes for you to get creative and to practice grooves and fills. Also you will find a 5/4 and a 7/8 to help you to build confidence playing odd times.
